Comments: Dr. Stewart is extremely smart & talented, compassionate & caring. He takes plenty of time to discuss your condition & surgery, answering all your questions, & making you feel at ease. I told him I had a "stupid" question & he replied that there are no stupid questions. He had an orthopedic surgeon assisting him, so instead of my 2 level lumbar fusion being 4 & a half to 5 hrs., it was a little over 2 hrs. That was great since Sr. citizens shouldn't be under general anesthesia too long.
